Kate has always loved designing and making, and started her business after more and more people asked her to make things for them. She works at her dining room table, with the dubious help of a number of cats, but hopes one day to create a studio in the dumping ground that is her cellar.

Kate’s designs are inspired by art, books, films and the materials and processes she uses.

This means she make a quirky range of products, including jewellery and homewares.

Kate’s imagination can be sparked by anything from Spirograph to vintage Scandinavian and African textile patterns to cult movies. She likes to use bold shapes and colours, and the materials and processes used mean she can make intricate and interesting pieces which defy categorization.

Kate designs and make every piece and can make one off commissions for specific people, events or places - she is as happy creating someone else’s design as making her own!
